Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has urged his side to remain focused ahead of their CAF Champions League second preliminary round second-leg clash on Friday.

The Sea Robbers managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win over African Stars in the first-leg clash at the Botswana National Stadium.

The Buccaneers will be hoping to make their one-goal advantage count when they face the Namibian side at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Friday.

The Buccaneers will need to prepare thoroughly for the decisive encounter, with Ouaddou stressing the importance of reaching the group stages for the club, technical team and players.

“I think we have succeeded in the first half of the two games and we still have the second half in South Africa,” Ouaddou told the media after the game.

“I cannot say we have one foot in the group stages. We still have an important second half there and we will have to prepare for this to qualify for the group stages.

“It’s an important target for the club, the technical team and the players, so we’ll rest and prepare well so we can start that game to win it.”
