Kaizer Chiefs continue to contend with significant injury concerns, with four players still on the treatment table ahead of their next Betway Premiership fixture.
The Glamour Boys revealed that captain Brandon Petersen has returned to individual training after he recovered from a knee injury, after around four to six weeks on the sidelines
Lebohang Maboe remains sidelined as he continues to mend his way back to full fitness from an ankle injury.
Meanwhile, Langelihle Phili and Siphesihle Ndlovu will remain sidelined with long-term injuries.
Amakhosi will be without the four respective players when they take on Stellenbosch FC in the Betway Premiership on Tuesday evening.
“Chiefs still have four major injury concerns, with Brandon Petersen returning to individual training recovering a knee injury, Lebohang Maboe – who has played in all eight of Chiefs’ games this season – nursing an ankle injury, while Phili and Siphesihle Ndlovu remain long term absentees,” Chiefs said in a statement.
“Chiefs, like Stellenbosch, do not have any suspensions for the game and Amakhosi coach, Fernando Da Cruz is hopeful of having a strong crop of fit players to choose from.”
