Mamelodi Sundowns forward Cassius Mailula is delighted with his decision to return to Chloorkop, having already celebrated two trophies with the club.
The 25-year-old returned to Sundowns after completing a transfer from Major League Soccer side Toronto FC.
He has been instrumental in helping Sundowns claim two pieces of silverware, with the most recent one being the MTN8 following their 2-0 win over Orlando Pirates.
Mailula also emphasised that the Brazilians are driven by a special motivation, dedicating their efforts to their teammate Jayden Adams.
“I’m very proud of myself also for making the decision to come back to Sundowns,” Mailula told SuperSport TV after the game.
“You can see already that I’ve got two trophies, so I’m happy.
“It shows that we worked hard together as a team. The mentality is right, you can see everyone wants it, everyone is contributing whenever given a chance.
“So, I think it’s very good for us to keep the momentum, for us to be very humble.”
