Durban City FC midfielder Kyle Jurgens has called for focus and discipline as his side prepare to face Orlando Pirates in the Betway Premiership.

The Durban-based outfit are set to take on the Buccaneers in their next Betway Premiership clash at the Orlando Amstel Arena in Soweto.

Durban City will come into this fixture high in confidence after claiming a 2-1 victory over Rukinzo FC in the CAF Confederations Cup.

Jurgens says the team has quickly moved on from their previous outing and is determined to put their preparation into action while maintaining their togetherness throughout the match.

“We’re looking forward to the game,” Jurgens told his club’s official website.

“It’s another important fixture for us, and after the last match, we’ve had to quickly shift our focus and prepare ourselves for what’s ahead.

“We know what we need to do and now it’s about taking that preparation onto the pitch.

“We have to stay focused on ourselves and make sure we carry out what we’ve been working on.

“We need to stay disciplined, compete for everything and remain together throughout the game. Those things will be important for us.”
