Bafana Bafana star Lyle Foster has officially joined Major League Soccer side Houston Dynamo on loan from Burnley.

The 26-year-old joins Houston on loan from the English Championship side in a deal that runs until June 2027

Foster scored 12 goals and registered 12 assists in 99 appearances for Burnley.

Houston Dynamo president of soccer Pat Onstad believes Lyle Foster will add power, pace and intensity to the club’s attack after completing his loan move from Burnley.

“Lyle presents another powerful, mobile forward to our attacking group,” Dynamo President of Soccer Pat Onstad told his club’s official website.

“He threatens the space behind the back line, links play well and brings the work rate and intensity that we demand without the ball.

“Lyle’s experience in the Premier League and on the international stage will strengthen our group, and we are excited to welcome him to Houston as we prepare for a strong finish to the season.”
