Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Marcelo Allende says he remains focused on giving his all during what he describes as his final year with the Brazilians.

The Chilean midfielder has been linked with a possible move away from Sundowns, but Allende insists he has not spoken to anyone and is concentrating on his football.

Allende joined the Brazilians in 2022 from MVD City Torque and has gone on to make 177 appearances, while scoring 16 goals and registering 16 assists in the process.

The Sundowns midfielder will entered into his final year of his contract, which runs until June 2027, but he has reaffirmed his commitment to the club amid speculation over his future.

“I’m focused on my last year here at the club. I haven’t spoken to anyone.

As I have said, I’m really focused, from everywhere. I need to play; I will always give my 100%.

If not, I also support my teammates because I think it is the most important thing at Sundowns so that we bring good things to the club.”
