New FC Copenhagen signing Thapelo Maseko has described his move to the club as a “dream come true” while revealing his ambition to make a lasting impact at the club.
Maseko joined the Danish giants after bringing his three-year spell with Mamelodi Sundowns to an end, having made 45 appearances for the club, scoring three goals and registering one assist.
The 22-year-old has completed a permanent move to FC Copenhagen, where he has signed a four-year contract.
He will wear the No. 12 shirt at the Danish club, with the number expected to remain unchanged after the transfer window closes.
Maseko has expressed his pride and excitement after completing his move to Danish giants FC Copenhagen.
“I am very proud of this agreement. It is a dream come true. To me, F.C. Copenhagen are a very special club,” Maseko told his club’s official website.
“They are a club that is highly recognised internationally, and Zuma has told me so many great things about the club, the fans, and the city. I am looking forward to experiencing it all myself.
“I am truly honored to get this opportunity, and it fills me with hunger and ambition. I have come here to make a difference and leave my mark on the club.
