Bafana Bafana star Relebohile Mofokeng was the hero as he slotted home the winning penalty to hand Union Saint-Gilloise the Belgian Super Cup.
Mofokeng was named on the bench and came on as a 61st minute substitute when he replaced Raul Florucz.
However, the match against his former club, Club Brugge ended 1-1 after regulation time, forcing the match to be settled on penalties.
Mofokeng held his nerve and stepped up to take the decisive penalty to secure a 5-4 win at the Jan Breydelstadion to hand his side the Belgian Super Cup.
