Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the signing of Qobolwakhe Sibande for his second spell at the club.

The 26-year-old came through the ranks at Stellies and went on to registered two assists in 42 appearances across all competitions.

Sibande rejoined the club for the second time following his departure from Egyptian Premier League side Petrojet.

He is relishing the opportunity to pull on the maroon jersey once again after completing his return to Stellenbosch FC.

“I’m very excited to be back at Stellenbosch FC,” Sibande told his club’s official website.

“I was very happy to have received the call. At first I couldn’t believe it, and then the excitement kicked in because it’s an incredible opportunity for me to come back home.

“I grew up as a young player with Stellenbosch and learned a lot about football during my first spell.

“I’ve since gained more experience during my time away, so I’m looking forward to being back, doing my best, and using that experience to help the Club succeed.”
