Spain superstar Lamine Yamal insists he is unfazed by the pressure ahead of their World Cup semi-final encounter against France.

La Roja will face France in a blockbuster World Cup semi-final at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

Yamal is confident Spain have everything needed to overcome one of the tournament favourites and keep their World Cup dream alive.

The teenage sensation believes Spain have the resilience to overcome any challenge and is confident their World Cup semi-final will be a “special day” as they bid to take one step closer to lifting the trophy.

“We know how to cope with adversity. And as for pressure, well, I don’t feel it,” Yamal told FIFA.

“You yourselves say I’m not at my best, so you shouldn’t expect anything from me, but I’m sure tomorrow is going to be a special day.

“It’s the most important match I’m ever going to play. And I’m glad to have made it this far.

“We’re all really excited, and me most of all. It’s undoubtedly the most important match I’m ever going to play.”
