France captain Kylian Mbappé has insisted Les Bleus are keeping their feet firmly on the ground ahead of their World Cup semi-final clash against Spain.
Les Bleus have their sights set on securing their place in the final when they face Spain in the semi-finals played at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington.
The Paris Saint-Germain star has been one of his side’s in-form players at the tournament, having scored eight goals and is currently joint top scorer alongside Argentina’s Lionel Messi.
Mbappe stressed that success is earned on the pitch and believes his side must continue proving themselves before they can be labelled unbeatable.
“We’re well aware of the potential of this team, but that’s not what wins you matches,” Mbappe said.
“We’re confident when we step out on to the pitch, but we still have to prove ourselves before being called invincible, or whatever superlative you want to us.”
