England star Jude Bellingham says his side showed their character and fighting spirit to secure a hard-fought victory over Norway in their World Cup quarter-final match.
The Three Lions booked their place in the semi-finals after securing a 2-1 victory over Norway at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida.
Thomas Tuchel’s side will now take on Argentina in the last four when they meet at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Wednesday.
With England now just one step away from the World Cup final, Bellingham believes the team’s unity and determination will continue to be their greatest strengths.
“Character, perseverance [got us through]; even when things weren’t working, we gave everything we got,” Bellingham told FIFA.
“I’m so proud of the team. It was a victory for everyone. The whole country wins – everyone behind us, the staff.”
