Kaizer Chiefs have officially parted ways with striker Tashreeq Morris.

The Glamour Boys came to the decision to terminate his contract after both parties agreed to part ways by mutual consent.

Morris joined Amakhosi the club from SuperSport United during the January transfer window of the 2024/25 season.

The 32-year-old went on to feature 14 times for Amakhosi while scoring one goal, but a number of injuries limited his game-time at the club.

Morris has since become the latest player to part ways with Chiefs as they continue their preparations for the 2026-27 season.

“Following constructive discussions between the Club and the player, Kaizer Chiefs and Tashreeq Morris have mutually agreed to terminate their contract,” Chiefs said in a statement.

“This amicable decision grants Morris the opportunity to pursue the next chapter of his career and join a team of his choice.

“We wish Tashreeq success in his future endeavours.”
