Hope FC chairman Keagan Buchanan has expressed his excitement following the arrival of highly rated youngster Selwyn Stevens.
The 18-year-old was previously on the books at Mamelodi Sundowns’ reserve team before joining the Cape Town outfit.
He had previously played for Hellenic FC and the Cape Town Spurs academy before making the move to Sundowns.
Buchanan has hailed him as a special talent with enormous potential and emphasised the club’s commitment to developing young players in an environment that encourages growth, freedom and long-term success.
“Selwyn is a special young talent with enormous potential, and we’re thrilled to welcome him to HOPE FC,” Buchanan said.
“Our aim is to provide a platform where talented young players can thrive, play with freedom, and become the very best version of themselves.
“We’re excited to be part of Selwyn’s journey and look forward to what the future holds.”
