Real Madrid have announced the signing of former Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva on a free transfer.
Silva parted ways with Man City after his contract at the club expired at the end of last season, bringing an end to his trophy-laden nine-year stay at the club.
The 31-year-old has since found a new club after becoming a free agent, penning a two-year deal at Los Blancos.
The Portuguese international has now become Real’s fourth signing behind Ibrahima Konaté, Denzel Dumfries and Marc Cucurella under new manager Jose Mourinho.
“Real Madrid CF and Bernardo Silva have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2028,” said in a statement.
