Hope FC have officially announced the departure of head coach Dylan Deane, bringing an end to his tenure at the club.
Deane etched his name in the club’s history books after he guided the club to the 2025-26 ABC Motsepe League title following their 5-3 win over North West University of Soccer Institute in a penalty shootout.
As a result, the Western Cape outfit gained automatic promotion to the Motsepe Foundation Championship ahead of the 2026-27 season.
The club have since announced the departure of Deane, with the club yet to announce his successor.
“HOPE FC can confirm that we have parted ways with Head Coach Dylan Deane,” Hope said in a statement.
“In a season that will forever be remembered in the history of our club, Dylan played a significant role in helping guide HOPE FC to promotion in our first campaign at ABC Motsepe League level.
“His leadership, commitment, and contribution have helped lay an important foundation for the journey ahead, and for that we are sincerely grateful.
“Dylan’s name will forever be part of the story of HOPE FC and the success achieved during this historic chapter.
“As a club, we have made the decision to move in a different direction as we continue to build towards the next phase of our vision and ambitions.
“We thank Dylan for everything he has given to the club and wish him and his family every success in the future.”
