Bafana Bafana have safely arrived in Pachuca, Mexico ahead of their participation at the 2026 World Cup.
South Africa arrived in Mexico on Tuesday after a long trip from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg.
Bafana will be based in Pachuca for the World Cup and will train at the Universidad del Futbol.
Hugo Broos’ men will have their first training session in Mexico this afternoon as they prepare to face Jamaica in a friendly before they take on Mexico in their World Cup opener.
“The boys have hit the ground running in Pachuca,” Bafana posted on their official X account.
“First session in the bank, and the energy is absolutely unmatched. The road to the World Cup starts with the grind behind the scenes.
“Let’s get to work.”
