Bafana Bafana have finally departed OR Tambo International Airport and are en route to Mexico after resolving their visa delays.
South Africa was forced to postpone its scheduled Sunday departure after several players and technical staff members were still awaiting their US visas.
However, a video shared on Bafana Bafana’s X account later on Monday showed the players at OR Tambo International Airport, preparing to depart.
“Bafana Bafana are finally heading to Mexico. All the best boys! make us proud and fly the flag high!” Bafana posted on X.
