Oliver Reid, Jaco Williams and Jonathan Roche have joined the star-studded roster of rugby talent represented by Roc Nation Sports International.

The leading global agency has recently signed rising star Haashim Pead and the recruitment of three more young talents signals an expanding rugby footprint for RNSI within South Africa.

Williams is one of the most highly-regarded young talents in SA rugby, who recently earned a call-up to the most recent Springbok alignment camp.

The 20-year-old outside back was a standout performer during the Junior Springboks’ triumphant U20 World Championship campaign in Italy, while he has now seamlessly transitioned into the Sharks’ senior ranks.

“It’s an exciting time to join Roc Nation Sports International, and to be part of the same family as stars like Siya Kolisi, Aphelele Fassi, Jordan Hendrikse and Cheslin Kolbe,” Williams commented.

Reid is another exceptionally talented prospect, who has rapidly progressed through the national age-group structures and straight into the professional ranks of Western Province and the Stormers.

The 19-year-old’s strong scrummaging and powerful ball carrying have drawn widespread praise, as well as comparisons to legendary Springbok prop Steven Kitshoff.

“I know how important it is to have a strong team supporting me at this stage of my career, and I’m really looking forward to what the future holds as I continue to step up to the senior stage,” Reid stated.

Stormers teammate Jonathan Roche first turned heads during the Varsity Cup before announcing his arrival on the professional stage with a stunning hat-trick on his Currie Cup debut.

Known for his robust defensive work rate, tackle-breaking capabilities and fearless ‘X-factor’, the 23-year-old midfielder also featured in a national alignment camp last year.

“With the necessary guidance on and off the field, I am incredibly excited to see what we can achieve together in this next chapter together,” Roche added.

By joining RNSI, Roche, Reid, and Williams will receive 360-degree representation.

This includes on and off field support, career and contract advice, commercial partnerships, strategic media management and dedicated guidance on community impact and philanthropic initiatives.

This strategic growth coincides with the arrival of registered agent Matt Norton, who has officially joined Roc Nation Sports International as the new Head of Rugby.

“We are thrilled to welcome Jonathan, Oliver, and Jaco to the Roc Nation family as we look to continue making an impact in South Africa. All three represent the very best of the country’s incredible depth of talent,” Norton commented.

“Our focus will be on providing them with the bespoke guidance, global network, and strategic support required to ensure they achieve sustained growth throughout their professional careers, and long after their playing days are over.”
