Kaizer Chiefs defender Reeve Frosler has revealed how he stays motivated and focused after returning from a long-term injury.
The Glamour Boys are set to welcome Chippa United to the Moses Mabhida Stadium when they meet in their final Betway Premiership match of the season.
Amakhosi have already secured their qualification to the CAF Confederation Cup next year after securing third place in the league.
Reeve Frosler has opened up on the importance of maintaining a positive mindset at Kaizer Chiefs, revealing how staying professional, supporting his teammates, and spending quality time with family have helped him remain focused despite limited game time.
“First of all, I’m happy to see my teammates do well. At the end of the day, if Kaizer Chiefs does well, it means I do well, whether I played or not,” said Frosler.
“To get down to how I stay ready as an individual, it is just to do the simple things at training.
“There is no point if I don’t play, and I come to work sulking, show a bad attitude, or be negative towards things. It doesn’t help anybody. So, for myself, it is to stay positive.
“Perhaps I wasn’t having as much fun in terms of on-field activities, but I go home and spend time with my family. That is where I try to have more fun.
“But as long as I get to work every day, do what I need to do at work, and then get home afterwards, I’m content.”
