Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Teboho Mokoena says his side have another opportunity to rectify their mistakes when they face FAR Rabat in the return leg of the CAF Champions League final.
The Brazilians claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over the Moroccan side thanks to a goal from Aubrey Modiba at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.
Sundowns will now take a one-goal advantage heading into the return leg, which takes place at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat on Sunday.
Mokoena says they’ve been given another shot at clinching the title after narrowly missing out on the continental trophy last season.
“Of course the pressure is there, we know what happened last year,” Mokoena told his club’s media team
“So I think God gave us another chance this year to fix our mistakes, and I think we are taking that opportunity.”
Kick-off has been set for 9pm.
