Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Nuno Santos has stressed the importance of moving on from their defeat against TS Galaxy and focusing on the CAF Champions League final.

The Brazilians are set to host the Moroccan side at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Sunday for the first leg of the continental showdown, before travelling to the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat for the return leg.

Sundowns will be eager to respond strongly after a 3-2 midweek defeat to TS Galaxy FC in the Betway Premiership.

The midfielder said the team’s full attention is now on the first leg of the CAF Champions League final, which he described as the most important focus at this stage of the campaign.

“I think we need to move on from that,” Santos told the media.

“There is nothing we can do to change what happened before.

“Our focus now is on the first leg of the Champions League. That’s the most important thing for us now.”
