Mamelodi Sundowns Midfielder Jayden Adams has urged his side not to underestimate FAR Rabat when they meet in the CAF Champions League final.

The Tshwane giants are scheduled to welcome the Moroccan giants to Loftus Versfeld Stadium for the first leg of the final in Pretoria.

Sundowns will then travel to Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah for the return leg next Sunday in Rabat.

The Tshwane giants will then head to the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in Rabat for the return leg.

Adams insists they have to focus on playing their own game in what he believes will be a ‘very difficult’ encounter.

“I think the plan is just to win our games here at home. You know, if we go that side, it’s going to be difficult. You know, the North African teams at home are very difficult to beat,” Adams told the media.

“I think going into this first leg, we must just focus on ourselves, play our game. If we don’t win, we can go there and fight for the team.

“I think we should not underestimate them. I didn’t play last year, so I don’t know them.

“So, I think for us as a team, it’s just to focus on ourselves. We don’t focus on them and what they can do, but we’ll mostly focus on ourselves and just do our job.

“I think going into this one is very difficult because we came from a loss now, and I didn’t watch their results, so it’s going to be difficult for us, but yeah, we’re boosting the team,” HE concluded.
