Mamelodi Sundowns’ title hopes took a blow after they suffered a 3-2 defeat against TS Galaxy at the Mbombela Stadium on Tuesday evening.

The Brazilians ended their Betway Premiership campaign on a sad note following their defeat to the Rockets in Nelspruit.

Sundowns suffered a defeat when Brayan Leon’s double was cancelled out by goals from Victor Letsoalo, Sedwyn George and Mpho Mvelase.

The defeat sees Sundowns remain in first place in the Betway Premiership standings with 68 points from 30 matches.

The win sees the Rockets remain in 12th place on the log with 31 points from 29 games, with one match remaining in the season.
