Kaizer Chiefs head coach Khalil Ben Youssef has praised striker Tashreeq Morris after he returned to the squad in their win over Sekhukhune United.
The 31-year-old made his first appearances in the Betway Premiership in their 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune at the Peter Mokaba Stadium, Polokwane.
Morris came on as a 61st-minute substitute when he replaced Flavio Silva to score his first goal for the club this season.
Ben Youssef praised Morris on his return and stated that the striker is always ready when called upon.
“I think I have to say thank you and congratulations to the fitness coach, for coach Dillon, Nathi. There are some men that are working behind the stand. You know, Morris was out of the squad for a lot of games and when the team needed him, he is always ready,” Ben Youssef said.
“He was out of squad, Vilakazi was out of the squad and they come and show very good performance today. I want to say thank you for these men that are working behind the stand, and preparing the player.
“I always say to the players we’re like a military, whenever the team needs you have to be ready any time.”
