Mamelodi Sundowns forward Arthur Sales is expecting a tough battle when they take on Richards Bay in their next Betway Premiership encounter on Sunday.
The Brazilians will travel to the Richards Bay Stadium when they face the Natal Rich Boys in this crucial clash for Miguel Cardoso’s men.
Sundowns will come into this match sitting in second place in the Betway Premiership standings, with 57 points, a point behind log leaders Orlando Pirates.
Sales says the team is determined to respond positively after a disappointing draw, acknowledging the challenge of playing away from home while stressing their responsibility to deliver a strong finish to the season.
“Of course a draw was not the result we wanted but it has pushed us to ensure that we do better in the remaining games of the season,” Sales told his club’s official website.
“It’s going to be a tough game, especially because we will be playing in their home ground.
“We have the responsibility to give something to our supporters in a form of a win. We will give it our all and make sure that we finish strong.
“We would like to thank the Yellow Nation for their constant support.
“Of course, it’s nice to play in a full stadium. This is also a sign that our supporters believe in us and for that we will need to give our all in this game.”
