Sekhukhune United have confirmed the departure of head coach Eric Tinkler with immediate effect.
The club made an announcement that both parties reached a mutual agreement to part ways with immediate effect.
Tinkler was at the club for 18 months in charge and was at the helm for 38 games, winning 16, drawing 12 and conceding 10 defeats.
The 55-year-old leaves the club sitting in fifth position with 38 points from 25 matches.
The club have since confirmed that Paulus Masehe will take over the held on a interim basis until a new coach is appointed.
“Sekhukhune United Football Club confirms that it has reached a mutual agreement with head coach Mr Eric Tinkler to part ways with immediate effect,” the club said in a statement.
“Mr Tinkler departs the Babina Noko family after 13 months in charge, during which he contributed to the club’s ongoing development and competitive progress.
“The club expresses its sincere appreciation for his professionalism and commitment during his tenure.
“Mr Paulus Masehe will assume the role of Head Coach on an interim basis until further notice.”
