Mamelodi Sundowns’ 10-match winning run in the Betway Premiership came to an end after playing out to a 1-1 draw against Stellenbosch FC at Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria.

The Brazilians opened the scoring in the 26th minute through Tsiki Ntsabeleng before Tshegofatso Mabasa levelled matters in the 85th minute to earn his side a point.

The draw sees Sundowns remain in second place in the Betway Premiership standings, a point behind log leaders Orlando Pirates, with 57 points from 25 matches.

Stellies, meanwhile, remain in ninth place on the table with 32 points from 25 games, two points off a top-eight spot.
