Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef says they are taking it ‘game-by-game’ and managing each game like a cup final.
Amakhosi fought back from behind to claim a 3-1 win over Orbit College FC at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Gqeberha.
The win sees Amakhosi move up to third place in the Betway Premiership standings with 39 points from 21 matches.
Ben Youssef says he does not want to put any pressure on his squad, with nine games remaining in the season.
“I think from the beginning of the season, we’re saying that we’re managing every game like a cup game, we’re managing each game game-by-game, we don’t want to put a lot of pressure on our players, we have a lot of young players also,” Ben Youssef told SuperSport TV after the game.
“So, we have to keep them and protect them, I think the target in the team it’s the same – managing game-by-game now this game is finish.”
