Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has urged his players to approach every game ‘like it’s a final’ as the Buccaneers continue their push for the Betway Premiership title.
The Buccaneers shared the spoils with Siwelele FC after playing out to a 1-1 draw at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
The result saw Pirates move one point clear of Mamelodi Sundowns at the top of the Betway Premiership standings on 48 points after 21 matches.
Ouaddou stressed the importance of maintaining intensity and focus in the closing stages of the campaign.
“We will die in every game like it’s a final,” Ouaddou told SuperSport TV after the game.
“Nine more games, many things can happen, we have to keep pushing.”
