The Mswenko boys suffered a 2-0 defeat to Sundowns after conceding goals from Miguel Reisinho and Iqraam Rayners at Olympia Park in Rustenburg.

The defeat leaves Orbit in 15th place in the league standings with 18 points from 21 matches.

Makhoye admitted they were up against a stronger opponent but was pleased with the effort from his players, insisting they continue to push forward and learn from the challenge while remaining focused on collecting crucial points in their campaign.

“Compare to the first game when we played them, I think today we came and competed. I’m happy we know we’re playing a quality side so even though the quality we have it’s not the same,” Makhoye told SuperSport TV after the game.

“Like I said before, the one-versus-one – the other one would be 90 and the other 100 (percent) that’s the difference between us and them. But we keep soldiering on.

“Like I said, after our game against TS Galaxy we needed those points because we’re playing this game, we’re not under pressure we knew that when we looked at the fixture that these ones we can lose.

“But thinking about it we can get something out of it, but this one is quality I mean we’re playing… let me leave it there.”
