Kaizer Chiefs bowed out of the CAF Confederation Cup after suffering a 2–1 defeat to Zamalek SC at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.

Goals from Juan Alvina Bezerra and Abdalla El Said cancelled out Makabi Lilepo’s goal and saw the Egyptian side secure the win and all three points.

The defeat saw Amakhosi get eliminated from the competition after Al Masry secured a 2-0 win over Zesco United.
