Mamelodi Sundowns attacker Arthur Sales emphasised the need for courage, focus and a strong mindset when they face MC Alger in the CAF Champions League.

The Brazilians are gearing up for their final CAF Champions League group-stage encounter against MC Alger at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Saturday.

Sundowns head into the decisive clash on the back of a 1-1 draw with Saint Eloi Lupopo, played at Stade TP Mazembe in Lubumbashi.

Sales has been one of Sundowns’ standout performers this campaign, having scored six goals and registered three assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

He insists Sundowns must rise to the occasion and deliver the best possible result.

“We all know what’s at stake, but the most important thing is that we need the courage and be brave,” said Sales.

“We need to have a strong mind, focus and try to bring the best result.”
