Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou has underlined the importance of patience, unity and shared responsibility within his squad.
The Buccaneers cruised into the Nedbank Cup Round of 16 after sealing an emphatic 4-1 win over Tshakhuma FC in their Round of 32 encounter in Durban.
Goals from Andre de Jong, Thalente Mbatha, Patrick Maswanganyi and Sipho Mbule proved decisive at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, rendering Sithembiso Ngobe’s strike a mere consolation for Tshakhuma as the Soweto giants booked their place in the next round.
“It’s very important to manage a team and to give time and to be involved everybody in the project,” Ouaddou told SuperSport TV after the game.
“It was the idea in the second half and the guys they played well.
“Let’s focus for the next game now.”
