Aubrey Modiba has underlined the importance of every fixture for Mamelodi Sundowns ahead of their Nedbank Cup opener against Gomora United.

The Brazilians will take on Motsepe Foundation Championship outfit Gomora when they meet in the Round of 32 in the Nedbank Cup.

The two teams are set to meet at the Loftus Versfeld Stadium in Pretoria on Wednesday evening.

Modiba sets the tone ahead of Sundowns’ Nedbank Cup opener against Gomora United.

“Our supporters should come out in numbers and keep cheering for the team, and we’ll make sure we do the job on the field,” Modiba said.

“Every game is important at (Mamelodi) Sundowns.”
