Mamelodi Sundowns defender Khulumani Ndamane has shared his thoughts on making his debut for the Brazilians.
The 21-year-old joined Sundowns before the start of the season and subsequently spent time on loan at TS Galaxy.
Sundowns maintain their spot at the top of the Betway Premiership table following their 2-0 victory over Sekhukhune United.
Ndamane has since reflected on making his debut for the Tshwane giants in which he kept a clean sheet and helped the club secure maximum points.
“It was a difficult game, especially for me, as it was my first game for the team,” Ndamane said.
“I’m thankful we got the win and kept the clean sheet. Even though the game wasn’t easy, we showed we can push and get the result.
“With this being my first game, I don’t think I showcased my full skillset. It was good enough for the night, but there were mistakes I can rectify for the next game.
“It’s time to get back and work on those mistakes. The three points is extremely encouraging, I was going to be disappointed if we had lost so with the win it is a confidence booster for us to go on and grind for the result.”
