Kaizer Chiefs co-coach Cedric Kaze praised the influence of substitutes Siphesihle Ndlovu and Flavio Da Silva in their win over Marumo Gallants.

Goldy Lilepo scored a stunning goal to guide Amakhosi to a 1-0 victory over Gallants at the Dr Molemela Stadium in Bloemfontein.

The win saw Chiefs move up to second place in the Betway Premiership standings with 30 points from 15 matches played so far this season.

Ndlovu and Da Silva came on in the second-half to replace Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Khanyisa Mayo and Kaze praised their contribution.

“We knew that sometimes player don’t get much time struggle a bit, especially on that field when there were a lot of 50-50 duels,” Kaze told SuperSport TV after the game.

“And we are happy with the contribution of Ndlovu and Silva, when they came in they were able to stabilise the game, they stabilised the team and we are to threaten in our attack.”
