Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance, but admitted frustration with the final result.

The Buccaneers were forced to share the spoils with Sekhukhune United after playing out to a goalless draw at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane.

The draw sees Pirates drop to second place in the Betway Premiership standings, level on 29 points with log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

Sekhikhune dropped down to fifth place on the table with 26 points after 15 matches played so far this season.

“I think the intensity from like you’ve seen the players did a great game in terms of intensity in terms of creating chances in the first and second half unfortunately the ball didn’t want to go inside the net, it’s football,” Ouaddou told SuperSport TV post-match.

“I don’t have anything to approach to my players, they were disciplined technically, tactically, they were on point.

“We played against a very good team as well, of course we’re a bit disappointed because we deserved to win that game.”
