Orlando Pirates head coach Abdeslam Ouaddou was pleased with his side’s performance against Chippa United but is already focused on their next match against Durban City.

The Buccaneers continued their fine form in the Betway Premiership following their 2-0 victory over the Chilli Boys at the Orlando Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Pirates will head into their next match joint top of the log with Mamelodi Sundowns with 25 points, with a game in hand.

The Sea Robbers will now take on Durban City when the two sides meet at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.

“Yes, we had to be patient especially when you play against a low-block, you need to keep calm to keep control and to find the small space we’re looking for behind the back-four.

“It wasn’t easy but it came in the second half exactly what we worked in training with a close from the side, a sharp dynamic run in the box,” Ouaddou said.

“But the guys I have to congratulate them it was not easy mentally they were focused. Now, we’re going to focus for the next game – Durban (City) it will not be easy as well and definitely we’re focusing on that game.”
