Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos has praised the impact of substitute Mohau Nkota for his performance in their victory over Zambia.

South Africa claimed a dominant 3-1 victory over their regional neighbours at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Saturday.

Nkota came on as a second-half substitute when he came on to replace Oswin Appollis, and the winger made an instant impact after scoring Bafana’s second goal of the game.

Broos was delighted with Nkota’s performance after he made an immediate impact since coming off the bench.

“I think Mohau had a very good game, he was very aggressive, quick also dangerous and when I said we didn’t do that enough today, we were a little bit soft,” Broos told SABC Sport.

“The tempo of the game was not high, in certain moments was not high enough. But ok that can happen and it happened today and it happened once.”
