Mamelodi Sundowns defender Grant Kekana has urged his side not to get ahead of themselves ahead of their CAF Champions League second-leg clash against Remo Stars on Sunday.

The Brazilians enter this clash after beating the Nigerian side 5-1 in the first leg last weekend at the M.K.O Abiola International Stadium.

Sundowns will welcome the Nigerian outfit to Loftus Stadium when they meet for the return leg on Sunday afternoon.

Kekana says his side still has a job to do in the second leg, despite heading into the match with a 5-1 lead over Remo.

“We can’t get ahead of ourselves; we haven’t qualified for the group stages yet,” Kekana told his club’s official website.

“The coach has emphasised that whenever we come off a good victory, we tend to drop the ball in the next match.

“It’s just about understanding what we did well away from home and knowing that we still need to finish the job.

“It’s only half-time, there’s still another game to be played. We need to stick to our guns and do even better than we did on the road.”
