New Mamelodi Sundowns signing Nuno Santos was delighted to make his debut following his Man of the Match performance against Richards Bay.

The Brazilians bounced back from their defeat to Golden Arrows to secure a 4-1 win over the Natal Rich Boys played at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Pretoria.

The win sees Sundowns move to the top of the Betway Premiership standings after Sekhukhune United suffered a 1-0 defeat to Polokwane City.

Santos says he is happy to have made his debut in front of the home crowd while also claiming the win and maximum points.

“This feels very good, home debut win, three points, very good game from the team all of the guys and now there’s no mixed feelings. There are good feelings only,” Nuno told SuperSport TV after the game.

“Everybody not just Arthur and Marcelo, everybody welcomed me the best way, the perfect way, I want to thank them all for that as well and now I have to adapt as much as I can, as fast as I can so I can get the best of me.

“Yeah, I’m always trying to create opportunities whether for me or my teammates and very happy,”
