Khanyisa Mayo admits that Kaizer Chiefs is the only team he would come back to play for in the Premier Soccer League.
The 27-year-old joined Amakhosi on a season-long loan move from Algerian outfit CR Belouizdad.
Mayo will spend the 2025-26 season playing for Amakhosi, where he will wear the No. 3 jersey for the season.
The Eastern Cape-born striker will be hoping to get a chance to make his debut for Amakhosi when they take on Sekhukhune United in the Betway Premiership on Tuesday.
“It is a dream come true,” Mayo told his club’s official website.
“As I have been saying in all my interviews, the only team I would come back for is Kaizer Chiefs. The Club has a great history.
“My father is a part of that great history, so I wanted to play for the biggest team in the country, in Africa, in the world, I can say, because Kaizer Chiefs is the biggest team in the world to me.
“I have come here to help the Club achieve its ambitions. So, I am focusing on what is at hand and trying to implement any task I am called upon to do.”
