Cape Town City FC have confirmed the signing of Dutch goalkeeper Mickey van der Hart.
The 31-year-old joins the club after parting ways with Eredivisie side SC Heerenveen.
Van der Hart brings a wealth of experience to the club, having previously played for Ajax, Go Ahead Eagles, PEC Zwolle, Lech Poznan, FC Emmen and most recently Heerenveen.

Over the course of his career, van der Hart has kept 92 clean sheets in 317 appearances across all competitions.
The Dutch goalkeeper has won five trophies in his career, including the Nike Eredivisie, two Eredivisie titles, the Johan Cruijff Shield and the Ekstraklasa title.
“It’s part of my ambitions that we bring the club back to the level where they’re supposed to be at,” van der Hart said.
