Keet has been without a club since parting ways with Cape Town City FC following their relegation to the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

Keet brings a wealth of experience, having previously played for the likes of Vasco Da Gama, Bidvest Wits, KV Kortrijk, OH Leuven, Cape Umoya United, and Cape Town City FC.

The 35-year-old has become the latest signing for the newly promoted side as they prepare for the upcoming 2025-26 season in the top-flight.

“Durban City FC is proud to welcome seasoned shot-stopper Darren Keet to the Club for the 2025/2026 Betway Premiership Season!” Durban City said in a statement.

“Let’s give him a warm #DurbanCityFC welcome!”
