Chelsea star Cole Palmer says he is ready to take his game to ‘new levels’ ahead of their Club World Cup semi-final encounter on Tuesday.

The Blues are scheduled to face Fluminense in the last four of the competition when they meet at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

The London side will come into this fixture high in confidence after claiming a 2-1 win over Palmeiras at the Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Palmer, who finally opened his account for Chelsea in the Club World Cup, is relishing the chance to improve his games as they look to book their place in the final.

“I’ve had a difficult time these past few months on and off the pitch, but he’s always been there for me and he’s helped me a lot,” Palmer said.

“The trolls and whatever, I don’t pay any attention to that,” Palmer said. “To score today, I’m happy, but it’s only one and I’ve got to keep improving and try to reach new levels.”

Chelsea and Fluminense is scheduled to kick-off at 9pm on Tuesday.
