Stellenbosch FC have announced the departures of three players ahead of the 2025-26 season.
The Maroons confirmed that the club have parted ways with the likes of Brian Onyango, Shaakir Ahmed and Liam De Kock following the expiration of their contracts.
Brian Onyango joined Stellies from Mamelodi Sundowns at the start of the 2024-25 season and only managed to feature eight times for the club.

Shaakir Ahmed came through the academy ranks at Stellies and played for the DStv Diski Challenge before getting promoted to the senior team, where he only made one appearance for the senior team.
The club has parted ways with Shaakir Ahmed following the expiration of his contract.

Liam De Kock is a product of the DStv Diski Challenge programme before being promoted to the senior team, but the defender only made 5 appearances for the Cape Winelands side.
The club has bid farewell to Liam De Kock upon the expiration of his contract.
De Kock departs as a two-time DStv Diski Challenge winner with Stellenbosch FC. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours.
