Borussia Dortmund booked their place in the Club World Cup quarter-finals after they secured a 2-1 victory over Monterrey at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia.
The German side opened the scoring in the 14th minute through Serhou Guirassy before he doubled their lead in the 24th minute.
Monterrey managed to pull a goal back in the 48th minute thanks to a goal from Germán Berterame, but his goal proved to be in vain as Dortmund held on for the win.
Dortmund will now take on Real Madrid in the last eight when they square off at the MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Saturday.
