Inter Milan crashed out of the Club World Cup after losing 2-0 to Fluminense in the last-16 clash at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

The Brazilian side got off to the perfect start when Germán Cano handed his side the lead as early as the third minute to make it 1-0.

Fluminense looked on course for victory before Hercules put the cherry on top with their second goal deep into stoppage-time.

Renato Gaucho’s side have now secured their place in the quarter-final of the competition, while Inter have been eliminated from the competition.
