Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that Njabulo Blom has returned to St. Louis City SC after his loan spell with Amakhosi came to an end.

The 25-year-old joined Amakhosi on loan from the United States outfit in September last year on a one-year loan deal.

The South African’s loan deal ran until June 2024, with Amakhosi having the option to purchase him at the end of his loan spell.

Blom, who made 19 appearances across all competitions for Chiefs during the 2024-25 season, has since return to his parent club.

“After completing his loan spell with Kaizer Chiefs, Njabulo Blom will return to his parent club, St. Louis City SC, in the United States of America,” Chiefs said in a statement.

“Blom rejoined the Amakhosi at the beginning of September 2024 under an agreement to spend a season at his boyhood Club in the Betway Premiership.

“After donning the famous Gold & Black jersey for the second time in his career, the Dobsonville-born player departs Amakhosi with a Nedbank Cup gold medal, and we wish him all the best in Major League Soccer (MLS).”
